Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to have a referral to come to therapy?

No, you do not need to have a referral to come to therapy.

Our therapists can treat any patient without a physician referral. Most insurances pay for a therapist to treat you without a physician referral for up to 30 days. Exceptions to this are Medicare and Medicaid. Our front office can verify if your insurance will pay for therapy without a referral if you will give us a call.

What should I wear to my appointment?

We want you to be comfortable, so please wear whatever you’re comfortable in. Taking into consideration the ability of the therapist to see or feel the involved body part can be helpful in best evaluating your condition.

Should I arrive early for my appointments?

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your first appointment for paperwork.

Our therapists pride themselves on seeing patients on time or early. Your therapist will tell you if coming early for follow-up appointments is needed. If so, it’s because they plan to see you early in order to give you better care.

How long do my sessions last?

Our therapists tailor your sessions specifically to your needs, so your sessions last whatever amount of time needed to give you the best care. On average, the evaluation will last 45 minutes and follow-up treatments are anywhere from 40-60 minutes in duration.

Do you do dry needling?

Yes. We have therapists trained to perform dry needling when indicated to achieve best outcomes.
