David Keese
PT

David was born and raised in the Upstate of South Carolina and attended Lander University prior to graduating Physical Therapy School at the Medical University of South Carolina. David first worked at the Hughston Clinic in Columbus, Georgia after graduating from school in order to work directly with some of the international leaders within the field of orthopedic surgery and physical therapy. David entered the profession of physical therapy because of the opportunity to develop relationships with patients as he often sees his patients 2-3 days per week.  He uses his practice as a ministry and appreciates when a patient asks for prayer in an area of need!David is married to Casey and together they have two daughters, Linlee and Emelia. David enjoys church related activities, collegiate sports, outdoor activities and traveling. He and his family are members of New Covenant Church and are thankful for eternal salvation through Jesus Christ!

Jimmy Huff
PT

Jimmy was born and raised in Columbus, GA and began his healthcare career as a physical therapy aide at The Hughtson Sports Medicine Hospital while also attending Columbus State University. Jimmy achieved an Athletic Training Certification at CSU before attending the Medical College of Georgia and graduating with a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy. He returned to the Hughtson Sports Medicine Hospital and worked in both acute and outpatient settings and eventually became the director of rehab services. Jimmy moved to Anderson, SC to work with David and co-founded Upstate Physical Therapy in 2004. Jimmy is married to Lisa Kramer Huff and is blessed with daughters Ceil and Nancy. Jimmy enjoys outdoor activities and is active at Central Presbyterian Church.

Taylor Cromer
PT, DPT

Taylor was born in Daytona Beach, FL, but raised in the Upstate of South Carolina. She graduated from Clemson University in 2020 before receiving her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Brenau University. Taylor is married to her husband Brady and has 2 cats and a dog. In her free time, she enjoys reading and traveling with her husband. She likes that physical therapy allows her to meet more of God's people and help them heal.

Katie Maeger
PTA

Katie is a native of Abbeville South Carolina. She graduated from North Greenville University in 2016 with a degree in health promotion and wellness. Later, she received her physical therapist assistant license from Greenville technical college in 2017. Katie enjoys hiking, tennis, kayaking, beach volleyball, playing guitar, and hanging out with her family. Katie was a level nine USAG gymnast who competed in the south eastern region and made it to nationals in 2011. Katie enjoys being a physical therapist assistant and having the opportunity to help individuals improve their quality of life and share the love of Jesus with each of her patients.

Meagan Shelley
PTA

Meagan was born and raised in Altoona, PA until her family moved to Florence, SC. She graduated from Bob Jones University in 2018 with her Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science and worked as a personal trainer for six years before making a career change and attending Greenville Technical College to become a Physical Therapist Assistant. Meagan is married to her husband Ryan, and has 1 cat. In her free time, she enjoys playing soccer, pickleball, paintball, and going to the gym. Meagan enjoys being a Physical Therapist Assistant and working closely with her patients to help them achieve the best possible outcomes!

Jennifer Rusher Thompson
PT

Jennifer was born and raised in Montana (Go Grizz!) and moved to Anderson in 1994. She earned her undergraduate degree from Clemson University (Go Tigers!) and graduated from the Medical University of SC in 2002 with a Master's degree in physical therapy. Because of her desire to learn, she has worked in a variety of settings including multiple outpatient clinics and in the school system both in SC and most recently, WA. After 10 years away, she has returned to SC and is back working at Upstate PT. She enjoys working with everyone and tries to make therapy fun. In the clinic you will see her bouncing around like an out of control pin ball, giving her patients a hard time, looking for her glasses and computer or forgetting why she walked into the break room (usually to get an ice pack or hot pack for her patient). When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and fur babies.

Thomas Vandiver
PT, DPT

Tom graduated with his doctorate in physical therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina. In his free time, Tom enjoys spending time with his wife, hunting, hiking and shooting trap/skeet with his friends and family.

Meredith Grant
PTA

Meredith was born and raised in Easley, SC. Meredith has a passion for people and forming relationships. She chose physical therapy so that she could pursue that passion and have a career that allowed her to minister to others. She graduated as a physical therapist assistant from Greenville Technical College in 2025. Meredith is engaged to her fiancé, Hudson, with a wedding planned for May 2026. They are members of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church and enjoy serving in the youth ministry and nursery. In her free time, Meredith enjoys attending concerts, watching collegiate sports with Hudson, and spending time by any body of water!
