David was born and raised in the Upstate of South Carolina and attended Lander University prior to graduating Physical Therapy School at the Medical University of South Carolina. David first worked at the Hughston Clinic in Columbus, Georgia after graduating from school in order to work directly with some of the international leaders within the field of orthopedic surgery and physical therapy. David entered the profession of physical therapy because of the opportunity to develop relationships with patients as he often sees his patients 2-3 days per week. He uses his practice as a ministry and appreciates when a patient asks for prayer in an area of need!David is married to Casey and together they have two daughters, Linlee and Emelia. David enjoys church related activities, collegiate sports, outdoor activities and traveling. He and his family are members of New Covenant Church and are thankful for eternal salvation through Jesus Christ!
Jimmy was born and raised in Columbus, GA and began his healthcare career as a physical therapy aide at The Hughtson Sports Medicine Hospital while also attending Columbus State University. Jimmy achieved an Athletic Training Certification at CSU before attending the Medical College of Georgia and graduating with a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy. He returned to the Hughtson Sports Medicine Hospital and worked in both acute and outpatient settings and eventually became the director of rehab services. Jimmy moved to Anderson, SC to work with David and co-founded Upstate Physical Therapy in 2004. Jimmy is married to Lisa Kramer Huff and is blessed with daughters Ceil and Nancy. Jimmy enjoys outdoor activities and is active at Central Presbyterian Church.
Mandy is an upstate SC native who graduated from Anderson University with a degree in Biology. She then attended the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston where she obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Mandy decided to become a physical therapist after working as an aide in a PT clinic during college. She enjoyed being able to develop relationships with her patients and helping them to achieve their goals. Mandy’s hobbies include traveling, spending time with family and hiking with her dog.
Katie is a native of Abbeville South Carolina. She graduated from North Greenville University in 2016 with a degree in health promotion and wellness. Later, she received her physical therapist assistant license from Greenville technical college in 2017. Katie enjoys hiking, tennis, kayaking, beach volleyball, playing guitar, and hanging out with her family. Katie was a level nine USAG gymnast who competed in the south eastern region and made it to nationals in 2011. Katie enjoys being a physical therapist assistant and having the opportunity to help individuals improve their quality of life and share the love of Jesus with each of her patients.
